FOX’s Star Features Patti Labelle as a Guest-Star

FOX‘s Star will feature the legendary Patti Labelle as a guest-star in her role Christine, Carlotta’s (Queen Latifah) mother on Wednesday, March 28 at 8/7c.

Also, part of the guest-cast this season will be Brandy, LaLa Anthony and Quavo. The show follows three talented singers, running from their pasts and desperate for a new start – with ambitions of stardom, as they navigate the cut-throat music business.

In addition, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), Lucious (Terrance Howard), Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray), Andre (Trai Byers) and Jamal (Jussie Smollett) will all pick up where they left off in ‘Empire,’ with Claudia (Demi Moore) as her same shady self.
