4 Trending Men’s Winter Boots

As the seasons progressively change and winter approaches, the well-dressed gentleman should never become passive in outfitting himself appropriately from head to toe. In fact, “from head to toe”, despite the alteration of the weather, we have even more options available to keep up our look and stay warm at the same time. For most, the primary focus during colder months begins with keeping warm and dressing comfortably, but even so, there is always room for staying fashion-forward in the process. One way to do so that could top of your winter wardrobe is to invest in the right winter boots. Allow me to concisely and formally introduce you to my 4 fav winter boots for men…

The Chelsea Boot

kanye-west-gq-july-2014-01 One of the staple styles commonly seen on men’s feet  during the mid-60s was none other  than the Chelsea  Boot. With British origin and an  admirable  reputation worn by the Beatles and The  Rolling  Stones, the Chelsea Boot has managed to  maintain a  very consistent platform here now in the  21st  century. To date, this popular sleek, slip-on boot  can  be seen worn by celebrity personality Kanye West  and many others. The versatility of these boots  lend themselves to different looks which can be  stellar with a nice pair of slim-fitted jeans and a sweater or also worn more formally with the right cropped wool slacks and/or a suit. Chelsea boots come in a variety of styles and fabric options.

The Wingtip Boot and Brogue Boot

Along with its popular counterpart, the Brogue Boot, this classic shoe makes a timeless statement when put on. Originating from Ireland, this shoe was known for its practicality and durability which allowed water to drain from the perforated holes in the shoe when the wearer was crossing wet terrains during their journey. Although this shoe debuted as one that was ideal as an outdoor walking shoe, it has transcended into modern day classic shoe and boot that can set off a suit or cropped jean. These shoes both look amazing when paired with heaver fabrics such as wools or tweeds.

The Chukka Boot

Suede-chukka-boots The Chukka Boot is a great medium between  modern and classic. One of the most  popular pieces of footwear people tend to buy at  Clarks is  this shoe in  particular. With its modern  sleek  profile on your feet, it can very  easily be  dressed  up or down practically without effort.  This shoe lends itself to endless creativity and pushes the bar a little where it concerns different personal style aesthetics. Personally, I’ve  always liked the leather Chukka boot with a slim-fitting pair of  dark washed Levis.

The Trench Boot

Finally, another boot that has become iconic among men’s fashion is known as the Trench ffe724d6be8f5d446bc71070965f39c7Boot. This boot is so iconic, that many dapper gents have been seen very gracefully wearing them year round during both the warmer and colder seasons. Trench boots are also known as the “Perishing boot” which was used in World War I as a combat boot providing them with security and protection from the cold elements and mud in the field. Trending now, you will see a lot of gentleman rock these trench boots with cropped or rolled up denim. This look brings the right attention to the feet paralleling its ocean of eyelets and long signature laces. Trench Boots come in a variety of styles and are proven to provide impeccable traction and longevity.
