The once troubled actress Lindsay Lohan seems to have learned her lesson as she’s across the pond working on her role in David Mamet’s stage play Speed-the-Plow.
Recently, the 28-year-old opened up to Time Out Magazine stating how she is aiming to turn a new leaf regarding her reputation and public image.
Lohan states:
“I’ve done things, but people grow up and they change. I’m willing to work hard to gain back the respect that I once had and have lost.
I’m hoping it’ll take away attention from me as a celebrity name and draw attention to the fact that I’m an actress.”
This could very well be the moment everyone’s been waiting for. The former Mean Girls starlet once had the world at the palm of her hands and then allowed it to slip right through her fingers.
She seems to have her head on straight now and convincing enough to take responsibility for her actions previously seen. Then again she is an actress, who knows if she’s just playing another role for the world to believe?
