RECAP: 2016 MTV Movie Awards!

The MTV Movie Awards are as fun, funny, and exciting as ever! This year the celebrities– and their kids–came out in full force to rep their movies and make it a weekend to remember. The fashion was popping, the laughs were hearty, and the awards were well deserved. Let’s chat about a few highlights!

2016 MTV Movie Awards - Show

The Fashion:

Nope this won’t be a “who are you wearing” section, instead we are going to talk about Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s spoof of Batman vs. Superman. As you can see Kevin came as the Dark Knight, while Dwayne, aptly was The Man of Steel. These two dropped more f-bombs than sailors in the Navy! You just know the censors were pissed! Still it was funny as hell and we love this duo for not holding back. They should definitely be doing some movie together…hmmm…

The Romance:

The Best Kiss Award is usually coupled with a kiss from the presenters and boy did they smooch! Rebel Wilson and Adam Levine tongued it out in front of millions. The two exchanged a wet, slobbery kiss, rehashing their roles in Pitch Perfect 2. We thought they would at least keep it cute, but it was wild and eerily reminiscent of the nasty kiss from Not Another Teenage Movie!

Hey Mikey!

WHO AM I? That’s probably what you’re thinking? It’s simple I’m this generation’s “Dear Abby!” I was raised in the Fourth Ward of Atlanta, educated in the School of Hard Knocks, and rescued by the concrete and steel of New York City. Life at best will always be bittersweet. The sooner you accept that, the better off you’ll be. I’d prefer to be on your sweeter side. Everyone needs a listening ear, extra shoulder, and open arms when life gets rough. I’m your new best friend, whe it all goes south remember I’m a mouse click or tweet away. Hang in there kids, you’re gonna love kickin’ it with me!!! -MIKEY
