Meghan Trainor Releases New Song “I’m A Lady”, for Smurfs Movie

Meghan Trainor has great news, she’s released a new song titled “I’m A Lady” from Sony Pictures Animation’s upcoming film Smurfs : The Lost Village while also lending her voice for one of the characters!

The “All About The Bass” singer had this to say about the news:

“I’m so excited to be singing ‘I’m a Lady’ for this movie,” said Trainor.  “It’s a song that I love and am very proud of, and I can’t wait for the world to finally hear it! Getting to play a small part in the film with my character, SmurfMelody, makes this all the more exciting! So happy to be a part of the Smurfs family!!!”

The fully animated film takes a fresh new take on the Smurfs. Based on a mysterious map that sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does.  Embarking on a rollercoaster journey full of action and danger, the Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history!  Some noteworthy characters are, Singer Demi Lovato as Smurfette and Actress, Michelle Rodriguez as SmurfStorm.

Smurfs: The Lost Village will be in theaters on April 7, 2017.
