We all know Bravo is a network which boasts some of television’s shadiest personalities and showcases them at their absolute best–when they’re serving piping hot, undiluted tea! Well last night marked the return of our favorites Housewives with the eighth season premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA). Nene may be gone, but that did not stop Porsha, Kandi, Phaedra, Cynthia, and Kenya from serving dishes of drama ice cold. First, Cynthia confronted Peter about his inappropriate interactions with a woman at his bar in North Carolina.
Unsurprisingly it was not resolved and she later confessed to her sister, Mallory, she is not physically attracted to her husband anymore. Later, at the launch of Cynthia’s eye wear collection, two blasts from RHOA past popped up–Sheree Whitfield and Marlo Hampton! Marlo ends up refereeing a verbal spat between Kenya and Peter over his inappropriateness with other women. Later, Kenya picks a fight with her new neighbor Sheree. After poking jabs at her about still building Chateau Sheree, she calls her a broke ass and the two almost fight!
Fast forward less than an hour later and we were served scalding tea when Vivica A. Fox, via Watch What’s Happening Live (WWHL), told Andy Cohen, Kandi, Mama Joyce, and millions of viewers she insinuates her ex, rapper 50 Cent is gay and describes him as being a “booty bandit” due to his anti-gay comments on the recent dip in Empire’s ratings and the questionable cover he did with Soulja Boy on a past issue of XXL Magazine. If that was not controversial and searing enough, Vivica later informed the world, after being asked by a viewer what she feels about Donald Trump running for President, that he would not be getting her vote and does not feel some of his recent comments are inappropriate abroad. Vivica’s statements easily made WWHL the number one trending topic on Twitter.
Vivica has apologized to Soulja Boy for her comments, but not to 50:
Let me say this!! Wasn’t speaking about @souljaboy only my EX and his antics! I apologize for that to @souljaboy
However, and unsurprisingly 50 has clapped back via Instagram:
“Now she thinks I’m gay because I let her lick my ass,” 50 wrote, also sharing Soulja Boy’s Instagram post. “Wait, I didn’t want her to, she forced me, my hands were tied. 50 shades of grey.”
He then brought up a rather intimate conversation he and Vivica had in the past concerning Halle Berry:
“Bitch remember when you told me f— Halle Berry,” he alleges. “And you could have played all the roles she did better then her? And I just looked at you . . . like what the f–k kind [of pill] s–t did you take?LMAO.”
Bravo really earned its ratings last night! Good job Andy!
