This has truly been a crazy day! Just when you thought things could not get any worse for Chris Brown, he is involved in a day long stand off with the Los Angeles Police Department! According to TMZ, Baylee Curran, former 2016 Miss California Regional, accused Breezy of pointing a gun at her. This resulted in Chris refusing to surrender to the police and holding up in his home. Well in just the last few hours he was arrested and is being charged for assault with a deadly weapon! See the police’s public statement here.
As you can see from the video this was a huge thing. We actually feel bad for Chris and are not completely sold on Baylee’s allegations. Multiple people, including Ray J, have stated this is a situation that was blown out of proportion. We cannot help but wonder is there some racial aspect to this.
Chris Brown is by no means someone who is above reproach. He has done some seriously dirty things, but with all the issues of police brutality and racial tension currently going on this country, this case needs to be gone over with a fine toothed comb.
