Ahmad Real Givens Dies from Colon Cancer at 33…

It has been quite some time since we heard any news from former reality star, Ahmad “Real” Givens, and that is because he has been in a two year long battle with colon cancer. Sadly, the co-star of VH-1’s Real Chance of Love has lost his battle with the illness at the age of 33. Real’s brother, Kamal “Chance” Givens, told TMZ his brother’s condition took a turn for the worst after a fall in January. He had been bedridden since then.

On Friday night, during a family visit, Real was having problems with his vision and speech. Chance says he felt the end was near for him. Real passed hours later. As you recall, he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer awhile back and was determined to beat his illness. He underwent surgery in 2013 and seemed to be getting better, but the cancer returned and he had begun chemotherapy again. Real will be remembered not only for his time on reality television, but his long, exotic hair, and love for horses. We would like to offer his brothers Chance and Micah our condolences. The Stallionaires will love on forever and so will our memories of Real.

Hey Mikey!

WHO AM I? That’s probably what you’re thinking? It’s simple I’m this generation’s “Dear Abby!” I was raised in the Fourth Ward of Atlanta, educated in the School of Hard Knocks, and rescued by the concrete and steel of New York City. Life at best will always be bittersweet. The sooner you accept that, the better off you’ll be. I’d prefer to be on your sweeter side. Everyone needs a listening ear, extra shoulder, and open arms when life gets rough. I’m your new best friend, whe it all goes south remember I’m a mouse click or tweet away. Hang in there kids, you’re gonna love kickin’ it with me!!! -MIKEY
