Alice + Olivia’s Spring 2016 collection by Stacey Bendet embodies the quintessential 1970’s goddess. The collection takes you away to a location where the sun is setting amongst the fiery orange skies on to the sandy hills. Imagine being in a desert with tumbleweed by your feet and a light breeze in the air. Envision vibrant colors, embroidered pieces, matching sets, beaded dresses, lace tops, wide leg pants and much more. Bendet channels her inner flower child with her latest designs. Boldly printed flowers are splashed on most of the pieces. Her collection has a wide range, offering something for everyone. Each piece can be defined as light and airy despite the bright, vivid colors. It was easy to fall in love with the theme of Alice + Olivia’s Spring 16 line. Matching separates was a huge theme in the collection. Filled with embroidered, floral, striped and solid sets, separates are continuing to dominate the Spring 16 season.

The spring 16 collection offers a variety of delicate blouses and tops. While you’re able to find a solid, casual blouse, the collection is filled with lace, beaded and embroidered tops and blazers.

Alice + Olivia offer a variety of shoes. Platforms, pumps, canvas shoes and sandals. Staying true to the flower theme, you will find floral shoes and clutches in the collection.
The skirts in this collection are statement pieces. The prints are bold and powerful. Heavily inspired on the floral side, each skirt features a different print, both abstract and literal. In addition to the florals, were striped, suede and embroidered skirts.

The collection featured tons of wide leg pants in solid colors and prints. Perhaps the most dominant pattern were the stripes. Some bold, some subtle. The beading and embroidery on the denim bell bottoms are a statement piece for the spring 16 season.
The dresses a part of this collection were made for the red carpet. The extensive detailing of each gown is soft and feminine.
