As the biopic dramas continue to unfold its only right to give a little like to what’s been going on surrounding the Whitney Houston story. Recently, Angela Bassett was asked about her thoughts on why Bobbi Kristina playing the role of her mother.
Bassett stated:
“No, I did not think about that. I did not think about casting her. And probably for a number of reasons, you know. One being that she’s not an actress. I know she’s acted here and there. I know she’s been on their family’s reality show, but she’s not an actress and acting is a craft. It’s an attempt to illuminate the complexities of human behavior and life. And this is a very fast-paced schedule; we have just 21 days to tell this story. It’s more than just saying lines and turning the light on. You have to drive the story—there’s a technical aspect.”

Looking at her juvenile comments publicly made on Twitter it’s evident that Bobbi Kristina’s maturity level is lacking. Being the daughter of musical icon Whitney Houston doesn’t mean she deserves the part more than anyone else.
Although Bassett’s opinion can come across a little harsh it doesn’t mean she was lying either. She boldly said pretty much what was on everyone else’s mind (other known as the truth). If Bobbi Kristina applies herself to the craft then things possibly can change for her, but until then prepare for the shots to be blown.
Currently, all that she’s giving off is the aura of a self-entitled trust fund kid.
