It’s not too often that I genuinely appreciate a nude Kardashian photo, but Kourtney Kardashian has gained my vote as sexiest naked Kardashian-sister. She’s pregnant with Scott Disick’s 3rd baby and completely embracing it. I love the pregnant body and Kourtney looks amazing. Kourtney is my favorite sister on the show because she’s not into the attention-whoring mess her sister Kim is, and she genuinely loves her man and works hard for her family. In reality, she’s my favorite because of her style. I just love how she marches to the beat of her own drum and isn’t controlled by Kris Jenner’s iron fist.
There are two types of pregnant women in this world. Those who succumb to every negative pregnancy side effect (morning sickness, acne, hair loss, fatigue, excess weight gain or loss, etc.) and look awful the entire time and then there are women who look better pregnant. I completely get where Kourtney is coming from, with loving her pregnant body. I loved mine and I never felt sexier than I did walking around with blossoming boobs and a belly full of baby. It was truly a freeing moment and ironically, having a baby taught me to just love my body for the amazing machine it was and to embrace all of my flaws. Pregnancy gives some women extreme confidence, just from the drastic changes we watch our bodies go through and knowing that we create and carry life.
To me, nudity is not something to be ashamed of. I’m not embarrassed of my body. I’m at my best when I’m pregnant. It’s such an amazing feeling, the transformation that your body goes through. There’s something about that that’s so empowering and beautiful and I just really embrace it.
How do you hope people will react to these pictures?
I don’t know. It’s what a woman’s body is made to do, so I hope it’s maybe seen as something that’s artistic. This was something that initially I did for myself just to capture the moment in my life, but these photos are beautiful and I’m happy to share them. And I like how raw they are. It’s my body: I’m not trying to impress anybody or be something that I’m not. But in general, I don’t really care that much about what people think. It doesn’t rule my world. I did this because I wanted to and it made me happy.
Kourtney gets a lot of backlash because she isn’t married and has had her children so closely together. But, they’re all by the same man and at least she doesn’t have multiple divorces under her belt. I feel like Kourtney and Scott will be this generation’s Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. All in all, Kourtney looks gorgeous pregnant and the photos are very tasteful and classy.
