Gucci just announced on its Instagram its new line of decor. If you already don’t have enough Gucci to go around in your closet, your bedroom can now make room.
Gucci posted this on their Instagram: Introducing #GucciDécor: a lineup of furniture and decorative pieces designed by #AlessandroMichele to personalize home spaces, featuring the House’s design motifs, patterns, and codes. Gucci Décor will be launching in September on gucci.com and in select Gucci and specialty stores. Illustration by @alexmerryart.
The collection includes metal trays, folding tables, and a range of wallpapers in fabrics like silk, vinyl, and paper, porcelain candles and incents. The pieces are designed by Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele and are scheduled to launch in September.
This should not be a total surprise to fans. During Gucci Crusie 2017 show, Michele designed velvet and needlepoint pillows that served as cushions for guest. They also were take-home gifts, Bonus!
According to the Instagrams, the line will be available on Gucci.com as well as select Gucci stores and specialty stores. Gucci notes that the décor collection will not have its own dedicated floor space, but be spread throughout the boutiques “to emphasize Alessandro Michele’s notion that these pieces are simply another way to dress in Gucci.” Thankfully, we have a few months to get our wallets and purses together for this bedroom splurge.
