1)      Tell us what the book is about?

Scarlett is a book about a woman scorned from a past that her drug addicted mother made very difficult for her while growing up. She’s so caught up in feeling sorry for herself that her insecurities play inexcusable roles in letting men take advantage of her. One day she awakes wanting something better for herself and gains the confidence to make a change. She undergoes an extensive makeover and finally feels great about her life and the direction it’s headed. However, her past literally comes back to bite her, making it very hard for a woman seeking change to ever be free of such heinous affairs.

2)      Why did you choose to write this book?

I chose to write this book because of insecurities that some of us have had at some point as a woman. I wasn’t always as confident in my looks or who I was when growing up. There were times when I felt that I was different and only could fit in with a certain group, but as time went on I grew out of that and embraced the woman who I had become. It’s also difficult for a lot of us to find love and with Scarlett it’s no different. I just wanted to write something that women could relate too while also adding a memorable cast around her to build the storyline.

3)      Tell us why your writing is unique?

I feel that my writing is unique in a sense of playing it safe by remaining as close to realism as possible. However, being that I’ve gone through a lot in relationships and have experienced unpleasant growing pains, my pen game reflects a lot of that in my work. For the most part, it’s really just raw writing that I enjoy sharing with my readers.

4)      What can we look forward from you?

You can look forward to reading more gritty romance novels. I’ll possibly even give you a few happily ever after endings.  After all, I realize that somewhere they do exist. I always say to expect the unexpected when it comes to me. In the near future you can certainly expect to see me growing in the literary industry and possibly even branching off with my own publishing company. I have a few other projects that I’m collaborating on as well. Beyond the stars, the sky is the limit. So just be expecting to see a lot of me. I’ll be somewhere around making positive moves.
