1. Tell us what this book is about?
Livin’ the Fast life is based on a true story. It is about a young girl trying to find her way through life. Kenya wants to be successful and live a healthy life. However, she struggles with the abuse in her home. Her mother hates her, and her step-father is molesting her. She desperately wants the love she sees her friends have. Looking for love, she turns to the streets; hoping to find the man of her dreams. Instead, she finds herself stripping, gang banging, drugs, and selling her soul. Determined to find her way, she does whatever she has to do to make her dreams come to reality.
2. Why did you choose to write this book?
I chose to write this book because I have a story to tell. I want every young girl going through the peer pressures in life, and struggling to become their own woman, to know there is more out there than being in the streets. If they are searching for love, they are not alone. It’s not easy to find love, but first you have to love yourself in order to know what love is. I also want women around the world to know there is nothing wrong with being strong and outspoken. We have to stand up for what we believe in. Last but not least I want all my nieces and nephews to know they can do anything they want to do, as long as they put in the work and stay dedicated.
3. Tell us why your writing is unique?
I write about my life experiences. I have been through and seen so many things I want the world to experience. I free hand. Which means; I don’t write from a timeline or outline. I follow my heart every page. I give my readers things they can relate to and keep it classy at all times.
4. What can we look forward from you?
