Ayurvedic Oil: The new fountain of youth

Olive oil is a great way to strengthen hair and obttain a shiny coat. Did you know there is another oil on the market that has the same skin healing qualities and has more heatlth benefits for the body? Are you aware that this type of oil can also work wonders for your oral care, hypertension, migraines, diabetes, acne, and other common medical conditons? Well here is some key facts about this new fountain of youth.

Ayurvedic oil has been relied upon for thousands of years as a fundamental part of Ayurveda. Oil is traditionally used in Ayurvedic healing in a variety of ways including raw consumption, cooking, massage, bathing, gargling, basti (colon nourishment) and nasya (nasal passage nourishment). This oil is more on the pricy side, but it is well worth the cost! An all in one all that you and your family can use.

Ayurvedic oil calming, soothing, moistening and lubricating. Furthermore, the word for oil in Sanskrit – sneha – is also a word for love, and therefore holds a special place in the Ayurvedic tradition as the ultimate nourisher and carrier of love. Ayurvedic oil transmits these qualities deep into the tissues of the body. There are two basic categories that this special oil falls in:

  1. Base Oil – Pure, whole, organic oil from a natural source (such as sesame, almond, coconut or sunflower)
  2. Herbal Oil – A base oil infused with a decoction of one or more Ayurvedic herbs – combining the nourishing and soothing qualities of the oil with the healing properties of the herbs.

If you are interested in keeping your pearly whites looking their best, trying gargling or holding Ayurvedic Oil for at least 30 seconds a day. Make sure the oil filters through you teeth so every precious material in your mouth is coated. Do this for 30 days and your mouth will feel better and most essentially cleaner.
