Pantone 2015 Color of the Year: Marsala

Pantone has released their pick for the 2015 color of the year: Marsala.  We all know that when Pantone sets the color of the year, we instantly see anything from clothes, makeup, home decor, cars, and just about anything that you can think of implementing this color to stay on trend.

Marsala is a brownish red color.  Pantone describes it as being a “naturally robust earthy wine red” and that “The impactful, full-bodied qualities of Marsala make for an elegant, grounded statement color when used on its own or as a strong accent to many other colors.”  And this is part of the reason it was chosen as the color of the year.  Yes, folks, people actually research and develop reason for the various color of the years that we have been following over the last couple of years.

Marsala is extremely versatile, it can easily be paired with many other colors, can be feminine and masculine, can go with various skin tones, and can work in various seasons throughout the year.

When it comes to incorporating Marsala into your beauty routine, you have a multitude of ways of doing so: subtly or dramatically.  Check out some of the ways that you can incorporate Marsala into your beauty routine in the collage below!
