The talented makeup artists of Kontrol Magazine Fashion Week, Fashion in the City of Atlanta, beat our lovely models down! Each model worked looks depending on which show they walked for. The beauty of the artistry offered each model the freedom to maintain her own personality during the show while still modeling a face similar to the group.

The beauties for the Luckie Losers show rocked a classic smokey eye, defined brows, flawless skin, and true red lips. The hairstylists Kontol Mag luckily snagged for the weekend whipped the ladies’ hair into similarly swinging styles ranging from bone-straight to soft curls. The looks matched the effortlessly cool signature look of the Luckie Losers line, which gave me a casual, sexy-anywhere feel.

The looks switched up a bit for the classy, conservative, but edgy SylviaMollie showing. The models went from flowing locks to grown-lady buns and braids. The hair braid tied very nicely to Kenya Freeman’s (lead designer) signature braided belt accessory on her fabulous pieces. Models retained the smokey eye, but switched up the lip to deep plums and purples. This change coordinated with one of Freeman’s principal colors–wine. Normally, I shy from matching the make-up to the clothes, but this worked beautifully for bringing out the richness of this historically royal hue.
