The On The Run tour kicked off in Miami last night and Mr. and Mrs. Carter put on quite an impressive show– Would you expect anything less? .They delivered a 42-song set with lots of fabulous outfit changes in between, but perhaps the most rewarding moment for fans was when Beyoncé and Jay Z treated fans with private home videos of their top-secret wedding and their daughter Blue Ivy fresh out of the womb.
The husband-and-wife duo shared the first beautiful moment on the Jumbotron during their performance of “Forever Young.” Its amazing the couple kept all details of their wedding guarded for so long, but for the first time since their 2008 wedding, the public had a peek into their wedding day and the moments leading up to the union of hip-hop’s most successful couple.
In the video, the power couple is seen getting their “IV” tattoos on their ring fingers before their ceremony and they share the moment Jay Z put a ring on it, officially making Beyoncé Mrs. Carter.
Feeling a little generous, Queen Bey shared more footage during her “Halo” performance of Blue Ivy moments after her birth and other candid moments, including her having play time with her famous mommy and daddy.
“There were videos of Blue in the pool with her mom, walking holding hands with her parents, Jay Z kissing Blue,” an audience member tells Us Weekly. “It was a sweet moment—Jay Z and Beyoncé were both facing the screen watching the Blue videos while they sang ‘Halo.’ It was like they were singing the song to their baby girl. The two of them were beaming, smiling watching their little girl on the screen.”
We’re sure other fabulous moments like this will happen throughout the 16-city tour!
