The Queen Bey strikes again! She appears on the cover of the fifth issue of CR Fashion Book! We’re sure that editors from all over the world were trying to get Beyoncé on their covers for the September issue season, but Carine Rotfield was the lucky one to actually scoop her up! & we’re so glad that she did! The spread looks amazing!
This issue of CR Fashion Book is Bey’s first collaboration with the former editor of French Vogue, and, we must say, this is a great first project! Comme des Garcons, Saint Laurent, Prada were among the designers that donned Beyoncé for her amazing high fashion looks! Ricardo Tisci was also the guest creative director for the cover shoot. Beyoncé also wrote a poem that would go alongside her photographs in the spread. It’s a beautiful poem about Blue being her muse, her love for young children, her alter ego, her calling as a transformer rather than an entertainer, and more. The poem was a great addition to the spread. With it, she inspires us the “Bey the Light” and find our own calling and purpose in life!
The spread features some really amazing high fashion pieces, Beyoncé rocking some serious inches, and, of course, a Chanel “surfboardt.” These images are amazing! Photographer Pierre Debusschere did a great job capturing these images.
We love everything about these images from the CR Fashion Book! It’s edgy, high fashion, and fierce. This collaboration was perfect for Beyoncé. What do you all think of the spread? Do you love it or hate it? Leave us a comment and let us know!
