Beyonce Knowles snagged the no. 1 spot, on the 15th annual Celebrity 100 ranking of the world’s most powerful celebrities. Following her was NBA player Lebron James with the no. 2 spot and hip hop mogul Dr. Dre moved up to the no. 3 spot after being no. 63 on the 2014 list.

After holding the top spot last year, Oprah Winfrey has now moved down to no. 4 on the list. However TV talk show host Ellen Degenres moved up 5 spots from last year , to no. 5 on the list.

This list is a measure of a celebrities level of fame and earnings with in a 12 month span. This year is the first year that Forbes has added “impact score,” a new metric designed to smooth out anomalies and more accurately determine the most powerful celebrities across music, film, TV, sports, modeling and publishing.
Beyonce has earned about $115 million dollars this year, with her many endorsements and surprise album.
Even though there are many new stars on the list and many that moved up, there were some that fell short of making it this year like Madonna, Carrie Underwood, Coldplay, Charlize Theron, Kenny Chesney, David Beckham, Jerry Seinfeld, Mila Kunis and Tom Cruise.
