It seems like the Brown family can’t stay out of trouble or the media. With Bobbi Kristina’s worsening, the family is now in the news again – but not for a good deed.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Bobbi Kristina’s cousin, Jerod Brown, was arrested this past Monday in Atlanta on a traffic stop.
Atlanta Police Department have indicated that Jerod was pulled over after an office detected “the odor of marijuana” coming from his vehicle, the International Business Times reports. Brown (whose actual name is Jerod Brown-Carter) was charged with false representation to police and driving without a license.
According to reports, Jerod told the officer that he had a Georgia license but did not have it with him at the time of the stop. 
He also told the police that his name was Jahraim Wallace Reid and denied the presence of drugs in his car stating that he had previously been at the studio. Police discovered that his name is Jerod Brown not Jahraim Wallace Reid and that he had an active warrant in Gwinnett County from an earlier arrest.
Jerod recently put out a tribute song and video to Bobbi Kristina entitled “#PrayForBK” and plans to release an album under the name, YF Kennedy, where he describes his love for Bobbi Kristina.
This family can’t seem to catch a break.
