Brave the Cold: Top 3 Chic Leather Gloves

Sure, it is getting cold out and we often find ourselves daydreaming about the warmth of Summer.  For some of us, however, we daydream about layers and being able to incorporate some of our favorite cold weather accessories: Scarves, Hats, and gloves…leather gloves.

When I was younger and developing my “fashionista eye” I hated leather gloves.  I thought they were only for “old people”, and would often gravitate to those colorful and knitted favorites.  Especially the knitted two-in-one mitten and fingerless gloves, or as my husband calls them, hobo gloves.  However, as I have become more refined in my fashion tastes in addition to my overall obsession with anything leather, I have come to LOVE leather gloves.

Leather gloves are functional and fashionable at the same time; keeping your fingertips warm while looking fab at the same time.  They come in a variety of colors, textures, and looks that can add nice touches of chic to your outerwear.

Check out my top 3 below!

Forever 21 – Leather and Lace, $12.90

I love these, not only because they are super affordable, but because of the lace and leather combo that is subtly chic.  This look is perfect for those of us who want something more interesting than a basic black leather glove, but do not want to commit to the studded varieties.

TOPSHOP – Biker Glove, $48

The zipper detailing and stitching at the wrist creates a badass look that I love.  The zipper gives these gloves the right amount of edge without being overwhelming.  If you want to add a little flavor to your look, these are the way to go, for sure.

Ted Baker – Studded Leather Gloves, $180.03

I always believe in an investment piece when it comes to outerwear.  If you are looking to invest, leather gloves are a great place outside of your coat to do so because if taken care of properly, they can last for years.  When I think of leather, many times I think of studs.  The pairing is just perfect.  Although this glove is studded all over, it still upholds a classic look that can be appreciated season after season.

Androgynous anchored with class and splashes of trendy is how I would describe my style with my bottom line style category being boho-chic. I love to challenge myself with new experiences and surrounding myself with positivity. Detroit raised me and Atlanta is grooming me. Sit back and enjoy the ride...I promise you this will be good. http://pinkklipstick.com
