Shortly after signing to the label, sadly the company folded leaving them in search of their next opportunity. Eventually, they met and joined Matthew Knowles’s record label Music World Entertainment with his former group “Mason Road”. Brian and the group and were given the opportunity to open for Destiny’s Child, toured with Ginuwine, Jagged Edge, Avant, Joe, and Brian McKnight. After seven years with Matthew Knowles, the group felt it was time to venture out and decided to part ways.

Millions of people tuned in to watch everything unfold on MTV’s Making the Band 4 (Which became the highest rated show in MTV history). Their self-titled debut album entered the record books as the biggest-selling debut album from a male R&B group in the 17-year history of SoundScan. The album – which included the hit singles, “Got Me Going” and “Since You Been Gone” – exploded into the #1 spot on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 in its first week of release. The album also topped Billboard’s “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” chart.
