Washington D.C based radio station Cafe’ Mocha Radio launched its Salute Her Awards Tour: Beauty of Diversity luncheon August 25. at the Marriott Marquis in D.C. Kontrol’s senior fashion editor and business owner Andrea Young were among influential celebrities for this empowering event.
Celebrities such as actress Pam Grier, Grammy award winning singer Stephanie Mills, comedian Loni Love with a performance from Kenny Lattimore, and so much more attend the event.

The mission of the Salute Her Tour is to highlight a variety of talented women whose stories will inspire others.
Cafe’ Mocha Radio first honor event was launched in 2011 , with past honorees such as Iyanla Vanzant, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Angie Stone. This year the honoree roster was nothing short of amazing.Due to the current presidency, the world evolving and changing events, women sticking together and being honored is right on time. Cafe’ Mocha states that in the course of years the Salute Her event has honored over 300 women.
