Nestled in the heart in Cabbagetown is a great place thats trendy, cute, dimly lit and know for yumtastic food. Have you ever dine at a place where the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is so crisp that its hard to leave the establishment? I stumbled across this place one day shopping in the area. I was famished and looking for something outside the box. Boy did I find what I was looking for! I was impressed with the layout of the cafe and most essentially the food! With daily specials and drinks that change quickly, Carroll Street Cafe is a hidden gem in the city of Atlanta.
One of my favorite dishes to eat when I visit the place is the Seafood Penne Pasta. This dish is full of scallops, shrimps, mussels, and crab meat all tossed in a homemade alfredo sauce and paired with fresh penne pasta. Not only does it come with a salad but crispy garlic toast thats perfect for dunking in the sauce. I recently ate at Carroll Street Cafe and devoured their Salmon Cibatta Sandwich. This unique dish was served with a salad and fresh fruit. If you are watching calories, you have the option to substitute fries or mashed potatoes for a more healthier choice such as fruit, salad, and even soup.
