The 20-year-old Fashionista from Oakland, California is doing great things in the industry. She is taking her career by force and inspiring young girls everywhere. When we first fell in love with Zendaya it was on Disney Channel’s Shake It Up. Now she is embarking on bigger roles in the latest Spiderman Homecoming film. As for Zendaya, her career doesn’t end there. Zendaya has graced us with her beauty on the cover of Vogue’s July issue.
Not only is she a Fashionista, but she is a designer too. In 2016 she launched her clothing line Daya By Zendaya., which was curated by herself and Celebrity Stylist Law Roach. The line which initially began as a shoe line now includes trendy pieces like jumpsuits, athleisure pieces, dresses, jackets, pants, and much more.
She told People Magazine “There are no rules,” she says. “That’s why I love fashion and find it so exciting. Don’t let people’s opinions affect how you live. If I allowed that to affect the way I dress, I’d wear a T-shirt and jeans every day. There would be a lot of things I’d miss out on.” “I’m not afraid of wearing what I want,” she says, “and I think that’s another way of being outspoken.”
