Happy 4th of July everyone!
And to celebrate this Independence Day, we’re spotlighting one of the hottest men in Hollywood. From his baby smooth skin, chiseled abs and features all the way to his never ending dimples I think its quite clear why Wesley Jonathan is today’s #CelebrityCrush.
Many of us know Wesley from his recurring roles on some of our favorite television shows like ‘City Guys’, ‘Sister Sister’, ‘Thea’, ‘Baywatch’, ‘Soul Man’ and ‘What I Like About You’ but Wesley is more than just a familiar face on TV. He’s also starred in a few cult classic films such as ‘Bud’z House’, ‘Roll Bounce’ and ‘Dysfunctional Friends’.
Wesley’s latest project is in the heartwarming film “Bad Dad Rehab” which also stars Malik Yoba, Rob Riley, Robert Ri’chard and Rick Gonzalez. The film centers around the lives of four “Deadbeat Dads;” each of whom take a parenting class, “Bad Dad Rehab,” to learn how to reconnect with their children and be better fathers, partners, and co-parents. Led by their group facilitator Mr. Leon (Malik Yoba), each of their stories is moving as they struggle to balance what they want to do, need to do, and face their own “daddy issues.” This is easily a film that every man, especially fathers–good and bad–need to see. The film does have a lot of lighthearted moments, and superbly integrating entertainment and informing the audience to social issues at the same time. There are a lot of fatherless children in our society and for many of them it is because their fathers are absentee. These are not always the stereotypical dead beat dads we hear so much about, but are instead men who do not know their legal rights as fathers.
We here at Kontrol LOVE Wesley and anything he does! We can’t wait to see which heights his career take him to next.
