CHANEL Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

This Tuesday Karl Lagerfeld, Creative Director for CHANEL presented at not so ordinary show for the spring/summer 2014 line at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Models were dressed up in sorbet pink as they walk down stairs into a orchestra setting runway. As the audience was sitting under the beautiful ceilings of the Grand Palais, they were awed by the models skipping down the staircase as the orchestra played.

Let’s just say this was not your typically fashion show because the audience and models were entertained throughout the whole show. The show was filled with silhouettes, sparkles, and corset skirts under crop jackets. The collection is all about mixing styles and creating one, and also consists of many pastel and soft colors. The photos presented from the collection are amazing and have us wondering what else is in store for this year from Karl Lagerfeld.

The setup was completely out of the ordinary, but I loved the concept.
