For the third time Chief Keef and Kanye West have joined forces to create memorable music. From his latest effort released earlier this month he added the genius of Kanye West to this auto-tuned filled track, “Nobody.” The emotional record is sampled by the 1973 hit, “Brother’s Gonna Work It Out.”
Chief Keef reminisces on the days before fame speaking of his many hardships while comparing his current situation embarking on fame. Although this may not be traditional hip hop it stands between poetry and art.
Kanye repeatedly raps on the track heavily in the background, “Not gonna stop, I bet I can’t get down to them…”
Side note: Does anyone think Kim would be playing this track and singing it to herself? Wait has anyone really ever seen her dance?
This record is one to play and drift away to in thought embracing the vast changes of life. Remembering where any of have come from to where we are each heading. Chief Keef accomplishes that on the very eased and emotional track.
