To commemorate Dior’s 70th anniversary, the fashion powerhouse has opened the largest fashion exhibition in Paris. Today marks the day of the official opening of the Musée des Arts décoratifs, the same museum that Dior celebrated their 40th anniversary in 1987. Here at this museum visitors can travel through time and view some of Dior’s most noted creations. Dior has been a major force in the world fashion. The creations of this powerhouse will set the trends in fashion for years to come.

For the next six months, the exhibit will showcase some of Dior’s most creative pieces from designers like Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and Raf Simons just to name a few.
The exhibition will also showcase more than 300 couture gowns from as early as 1947 to 2017. These gowns are said to fall under 23 different themes.

Not only can you view original pieces from the house’s Collection but you can also view fashion photography, illustrations, artwork from other museums, and original documents.

This is definitely a go see this summer. If you are a lover of fashion and everything Dior you wouldn’t want to miss this moment in fashion history.
