Ciara is having a great year due to the birth of her first child and engagement to boyfriend of two-years, the rapper Future. The entertainer spilled a few of her wedding “goodies” in an interview with Brides Magazine for their August/September issue.
Apparently, CiCi knew from the genesis she’d be spending forever with Future. When asked if she knew she’d marry him she replied, “Very early on. He came with something that I’d never felt before: the true presence of a man.”
While an official date isn’t known, it has to be somewhat soon because the star is already picking out dresses and knows the exact look she’s going for. She admitted, “My everyday style is what I call ‘tomboy chic,’ but for my wedding, I’m going to do elegance with a little edge.”
The event in itself will have a traditional feel. Ciara confirmed it will be “Indoors and black tie. For the palette, I’m not into loud colors. I like black and white, classic and clean.”
Her wedding party has already been selected.
“There will be five or six and two matrons of honor [including La La Anthony]. They’ll all wear the same color, but in different styles to suit their personalities. I want my ladies to look amazing!” I’m sure Kelly Rowland and maybe in Kim Kardashian is a part of her party.
The wedding attendees can also expect a few surprise live performances and great music overall. “A few of our friends will sing, and we’ll have a great DJ — good old soul mixed with new stuff,” she said. “You want people to say, ‘This is my jam!'”
The new mommy had the natural hair community and many alike going crazy over her faux locs this past 4th of July weekend. She’s giving Lisa Bonnet flavor and I’m here for all of it!
