All you Scandal fanatics out there get ready for a familiar face to be added to the Gladiator team in season five!
Reports are now circulating that Cornelius Smith, Jr. has just been added as a series regular on ABC’s hit show Scandal. If you don’t remember Cornelius he appeared in two episodes during season four, one of which included the Ferguson inspired episode “The Lawn Chair”, where he played activist Marcus Walker.
It’s not known whether Cornelius will replace Columbus Short’s character, Harrison Wright, but given the dynamic between he and Kerry Washington’s character, Olivia Pope, I believe he will be a new gladiator and I believe he will also bring something new and different to the team – his character is outspoken just like Olivia Pope. I think it’ll be great to see how Olivia can be challenged by someone on her own team.
The new season of Scandal premieres on September 24 at 9 p.m. Are you gladiators ready for Olivia Pope and the gang?!
