It is hard to believe it has been two years since Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone starred in Rocky franchise spinoff, Creed.

Jordan played the role of “Adonis Creed,” the illegitimate son of Apollo Creed, Rocky Balboa’s friend and rival. We know a sequel to the film is in the works, but we have not heard much about it until today when Stallone dropped a huge teaser for it via Instagram!

This news is huge! As you may already know the other guy in this picture is none other than Ivan Drago–the man who killed Apollo Creed in the ring! There is bound to be some bad blood there, and though we are sure Ivan is far too old to box Adonis that does not mean he does not have a son or some protege to put Adonis through the ringer.

We originally thought the next Creed film would be a “Creed vs. Creed” ordeal where one of Adonis’s older, legitimate, brothers would be fighting him for their father’s legacy. We definitely like Sylvester’s teaser better, but it could just be wishful thinking? We doubt it, as the Rocky star has hinted at a Russian story line with Drago before with these posts below:
