So, how does one get dry skin? Easy. There just is not enough moisture in the skin. The sebum that is naturally and normally produced is lacking. However, there is no need to have a sad face because we will go over some ways for you to combat having dry skin.
Your Skin Care Routine (Face)
Ok, what do you use to wash your face? If you say soap, you shouldn’t be surprised that your skin is a mess. The regular soap is just making things worse. If you want to get your skin clean, try reaching for a mild cleanser or a micellar water. A cream cleanser would be great!
When it comes to moisture, you can go for a thicker moisturizer at night, but try to stick with something light weight during the day. Facial oils are also a good option too to rid yourself of dry skin. If the idea of using a facial oil does not make you happy, give a serum with hyaluronic acid a try.
Body
When washing your body, try to go for a body wash made for dry skin. Once you are finished, try sealing in the moisture with a body oil or a moisturizing lotion. A butter or cream would work too.

- Sometimes, your skin can be dry due to your water. Try adding a filter to your faucets and shower head to help reduce hard water.
- Also, try to remain hydrated. Drinking water is key. Yes, it really is important and that good for you.
- If you are on the go, keep your favorite hand lotion.
- Use a facial mist or facial spray for a quick pick me up.
