Donald Sterling just won’t have a seat. He obviously know his way around a stadium but still refuses to take just one. As you know, Sterling was forced out of the NBA due to racist comments made during a private conversation by his side chick, V. Steviano, who consequently sold them to the highest bidder. Since then he’s became the poster child for K. Camp’s lyrics “it ain’t nothing to cut that b****h off” and he’s not liking it one bit. As a result of the banishment, he’s suing the NBA for more than $1 billion claiming he was bullied to relinquish his ties from them.
The federal lawsuit, filed on Friday afternoon, claim he was unconstitutionally intimidated out of the league and the $2.5 million fine was baseless, according to TMZ. Sterling feels the NBA shouldn’t have kicked him out of the league for the tapes because it was illegally recorded, thus portraying him as a racist.
This news comes on the tail end of the news of Sterling being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and declared incompetent to make decisions, by not one but two prominent neurologists. After performing the test, it was also stated he may have had the disease over 5 years. Consequently, he was ruled incompetent to make any decisions regarding the selling of the team. It really didn’t matter anyway because Shelly Sterling had already sold the team to the former CEO of Microsoft Steve Ballmer for $2 billion before the ink was dry on the signed letter surrendering control of the team to her.
Now who didn’t see this coming? Whenever people get caught up they magically find medical issues to use as scapegoats. If this is indeed a strategic move to soften the perception of the incident, he’s dead wrong for using something people are truly afflicted with. Let this be a lesson to everyone with side chicks and dips. Please know and understand they ain’t loyal! Watch your setup out here.
