At long last the “Merc with a mouth” has his own movie! Deadpool finally makes his cinematic debut and it looks like it will be a hit–along with a lot of bangs, drop kicks, murders, and even a few profane words. Yep, the movie is definitely not for the kiddies. Then again, Deadpool is mercenary before he is a superhero, thus it should not be a surprise. So save the frenzy for a family film for Ant-Man! Wade Wilson is an exceptional fighter suffering from cancer. He is offered a cure and super powers in return for working for some top secret seemingly evil organization. Realizing the error of his ways, in his own dark and twisted way, he goes on a mission to take out the man responsible for ruining his life.
The trailer looks awesome and really stays true to the comics. Many were skeptical of Ryan Reynolds portraying the titular anti-hero after his failed attempt at Green Lantern. He even pokes fun of it in the trailer. However, you can easily tell it will be the action scenes that steal the show. The way this man jumps through the air and takes out multiple enemies would mortify Spider-Man. Even cooler are the appearances of Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus. The appearance of the latter definitely proves he exists alongside the X-Men and may hint his greater involvement in future installments to the franchise. You can catch Deadpool in theaters everywhere Friday, February 12, 2016!
