Gabrielle Union covers the 11th anniversary issue of Vegas magazine and dishes about her relationship and wedding plans with Dwayne Wade as well their blended family! She speaks of her fiancé, Dwayne Wade being more involved in the wedding details that she imagined. She has enjoyed the wine tasting and saying yes to the dresses… Yes I said dresses but Mr. Wade is getting down to the nitty gritty of the planning!
Not to my surprise, the mean girl actress who’s played such rough and tough roles in movie like “Bring It On”, “Deliver Us from Eva” and her hit BET sitcom “Being Mary Jane”, Ms. Union opens up about reveling in other actresses’ misery from tabloids, gossip and even some truth. She felt it set her apart from the other and basked in their defeat. (Not surprising at all!)
Lastly she spoke about her now blended family! She states that she never would have planned for such a situation as this but cannot imagine living life any other way but with them. Of course she is speaking of Dwayne Wade’s son’s from his first marriage. She speaks proudly of the packaged deal that she has inherited which came by a sort of surprise to her for never wanting kids of her own!
Go head Ms. Soon to Be Wade for taking on the responsibility and doing it with much grace and flare. She came a long way from her “Bring it On” days and I am loving the view of her blossoming into such an amazing actress! Can’t wait for wedding pictures and footage! I’m sure it will be star studded!
