Luxurious automobile company, Lexus partnered with Uptown magazine for another magnificent event. The Lexus Presents UPTOWN Uncorked Atlanta was held this year at the King Plow Arts Center. Many guests enjoyed enjoying the luxury of food, wine, and fine automobiles all in one. The gorgeous landscape of
the Art Center also caught our eye. The wine for the evening was provided by SAVED and MEIOMI Coastal California Wines. Atlanta’s elite came out to support celebrity stylist Tameka Foster, actor Christian Keyes and Clifton Powell, the fashionable Monyetta Shaw, and
BET’s Being Mary Jane Gabrielle Union came out to support Lexus Presents UPTOWN Uncorked Atlanta event.
What we all came for? The delectable taste of luxury foods. Many chefs came out to present their tasty cuisine. However, Kontrol got the honor to taste three chefs’ delightful entries.
Chef Chez Montier provided three delicious dishes. Creamy “deviled” eggs with smoked cured salmon. Terrine of Foie Gras with Fig Jam Spoonful, Topped with Shallot Crème and crystallized poached fig. But my favorite dish from him was the Pumpkin saffron soup shooters with a nugget of jumbo lump crab and chives.
Chef Deborah VanTrece had the most delectable lamb chops and her presentation was magnificent. She also will be debuting her new restaurant Twisted Soul cook house in Midtown. Executive Chef Deborah VanTrece is now for her tasty dishes with a soul food twist.
Chef Rob station provided tasty Jamaican style tamarind glaze jerk wings, cajun seafood dip with loaded garlic pita and grilled crab with archoives and dill mayo. Of course, the favorite dish from this bunch was the Jamaican style tamarind glaze jerk wings. However, all the dishes were very good.
With luxury wine, food, and lovely cars the ambiance was perfect.
