A Belt

Accessories come in all shapes and sizes, and that’s exciting; it means you have dozens of different options when it comes to making your outfit look amazing. Adding a belt to any items, whether it be a dress, shirt, or pair of pants will elevate it, especially if the belt is a contrast to the rest of the outfit but matches other accessories such as earrings or a bag or shoes.

The ideal kind of belt to choose for this year has to be the metallic look. The more industrial the better, as this is a big trend coming up. Leather belts with metallic studs or chain belts are the perfect way to accessorize an outfit and they can be used many times over in many different ways.

Earrings

Jewelry is a great way to accessorize an outfit, especially as you can feel really glamorous wearing it. Although in the past the emphasis has been on necklaces and bracelets, for autumn and winter 2019, it’s all about earrings. Even if you don’t have pierced ears, clip-on earringsare much more attractive now than they have been in the past, and they look as gorgeous as the real thing, so everyone can enjoy this way of accessorizing.

To join in with the latest fashion, your earrings should be long and dangling. The longer, the better.

Tassels

If tassels make you think of country and western singers, then think again – they are absolutely on trend for this autumn and winter. You can buy clothing that already has tassels attached, but the worry with doing this is that once the trend is over, the clothing won’t be worn.

It’s a better idea to accessorize using tassels so that the clothing itself remains free of them and the items can be worn again and again. Tassels come in many forms, including the earrings mentioned above. You can also add a tasseled purse or bag, tasseled shoes, or a tasseled scarf to make your outfit pop.

Rhinestones

There definitely seems to be a bit of a southern vibe going on, but as long as you don’t go too crazy when it comes to adding rhinestones to your outfits, you should be able to stay happily on-trend.

You can even add rhinestones to accessories yourself using a hot glue gun. Be careful and minimal when doing this, and you can end up with a stunning item that will be the envy of your friends.
