While her debut album is still in progress, and its’ title has yet to be released, Diamond is definitely serving “grown woman” with her new look. She’s come a long way from her “Knuck If You Buck” days.
In addition to her solo project, she is also working on a Reality television series called, “Sisterhood of Hip Hop”. Southern Hip Hop couple, T.I. and Tiny, are producing the show, and it will air on Oxygen. Diamond will star alongside her Rap Star peers, Bia, Siya, Nyemiah Supreme, and Brianna Perry. In an interview with Bet.com, she expressed her excitement and anticipation at finally being able to open up, and let her guard down. Diamond goes on to say, “We all understand it’s some things you have to give up in order to be in this industry. You have to have tough skin. … I’ve been doing this ten years. I have experience. I have so much more to learn, but I have so much that I can teach and share with others “. So far there appears to be a genuine, and realness about the sisters of hip hop, we’ll see how these emcee siblings take to one another once the cameras start rolling. The show is said to air later this year on the network most notoriously known for its’ reality series Bad Girls Club. “Sisterhood of Hip Hop” will definitely give BGC a run for their money.
