From inmate to fashion model, Jeremy Meeks is living the dream. He was dubbed the “World’s Hottest Felon” after his mugshot went viral. Now the 33-year-old Stockton, California native is turning heads in the fashion world as he walks down the runways in New York, Paris, and Milan.

Jeremy became famous after a police mugshot was released on Facebook in 2014. The photo went viral and everyone was wondering who was this handsome guy. Overnight, memes of Jeremy’s mugshot took over the internet. At the time, he was convicted of federal charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Before that he was sentenced to spent nine years in prison for grand theft auto in 2002.

For the gun charges, Jeremy was sent to Mendota Federal Correctional Institution and given a 27-month sentence. While in prison, his popularity got him a modeling contract with White Cross Management. He was also signed to Hollywood talent agent Gina Rogriguez

In 2016, after being released from prison Jeremy started his modeling career. He made his runway debut in 2017 when he walked for Philipp Plein. So far, he has exclusively modeled for Plein, walking in four of the designer’s runway shows and being featured in a 2017 Fall/Winter advertisement.

Jeremy is also married and a father to two children. However, recently his profile has risen since he’s left his wife for Topshop heiress, Chloe Green. The two have been photographed together cuddling and kissing. On the other hand, his fans are outraged that he’s left his wife who stayed by his side through his criminal behavior. The relationship has gained Jeremy support from Chloe’s father Sir Philip Green, who hired the model for an appearance at Topshop’s Los Angeles store.

No matter what anyone has to think about Jeremy, he’s a successful model living in a Los Angeles mansion with expensive sports cars. It seems as though he’s found his “American Dream.”
