As a professional Makeup Artist, nothing makes me more excited and elated than the idea of playing and parading throughout town in fun fabulous makeup combinations, that being said, Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays!In honor of the upcoming celebration, I will be presenting fun and creative  makeup ideas all through October to make sure you wow and amaze at all of your Halloween festivities!

Being a native New Mexican, the first Halloween makeup application tip was a no brainer: Dia De Los Muertos Sugar Skull masks! These masks are a great idea, because they are so versatile. Sugar Skull masks can be as spooky or beautiful as one would want and can accommodate every artist’s skill level. Another fun aspect of painting and creating these masks is that they also have an amazing meaning! The skulls are reminders to celebrate life and remember those that have passed away, in fact, the Marigold flower which is often featured on the mask is believed to guide those that have passed on with it’s alluring sweet scent! But, it doesn’t stop there, there are many other symbols you can incorporate into your mask, have fun and be creative! You can create your mask utilizing makeup you already have in your kit, or you can purchase face painting supplies,tattoos and stencils at your favorite Halloween Supplier.
