Fall shopping has arrived and I am diligently making a list of must-haves for the impending cooler season ahead. ASOS is the first place that I go to browse for the latest fall styles. While I am generally always excited to peruse the virtual aisles of ASOS Curve, I am ecstatic this season for the 1970’s inspired looks modeled by plus-sixe blogger, GabiFresh.
I have followed Gabi since her personal blogging days on Young, Fat & Fabulous. While I do not know her personally (however I am hoping that we cross paths one day), I have been rooting for her success. She gives me hope that a plus-size woman who has a love for fashion can actually make an impact within the industry. I digress though…as I could talk about all of the things that I hope to accomplish as a writer and fashion-lover.
So let’s get back to the focus. Clothes! As I stated before and as I will state again as we continue into fall, all things 1970’s are in. ASOS Curve does not disappoint in the wonderful disco-era items showcased in the F/W ‘15 lookbook. I am thrilled with the amount of detailing that was put into this collection. So expect rich-colored suede, metallic stripes and eyelets. Out all of the pieces from the lookbook, I am most intrigued by the black grommet turtleneck midi dress, sequined capelet and pink faux fur coat. This collection is totally wavy and I can’t wait until the pieces actually begin to debut on the ASOS Curve site.
