MMG and Def Jam Recordings really put on a show yesterday in the city of Atlanta. Gunplay gave the city a chance to come party with him and listen to his new album “Living Legend” that will be available July 31. From producers, bloggers, fans and even photographers, everyone was there to witness a legend in the making. The listening party was held at Patchwerk Studio in Atlanta, GA. It was most definitely a sight to see especially if you are a music lover like I am. With features from Rick Ross, YG and Yo Gotti, this album is smoking hot! Its exactly another classic from the Maybach Music team. With two singles that is making headlines in the street, this album is a must have for the summer!

“Living Legend” has 11 tracks that is a clear depiction of who Gunplay really is. When I first heard about Gunplay, the introduction was made apparent by his song “Bible on the Dash”. I immediately listened to the song because I remember growing up and visualizing the same thing in my father’s car. He always kept a bible on his dashboard to symbolize that God was directing his life no matter if he fell off track sometimes. This analogy is true because it makes sense. Whatever path you decide to take in life whether its good or bad, God will keep you on track.

“Be Like Me” featuring Rick Ross and “Wuzhanindoe” featuring YG  produced by DJ Mustard are two singles that we can expect off his new album. Both of them have bass knocking beats that has the potential to keep the club rocking and the streets relevant.
