Ladies and gentlemen, meet Jeremy Meeks. No, he’s not a GAP or GIVENCHY model and this picture isn’t going on anyone’s comp card. What we have here is a mug shot taken in Northern California of a person considered to be a “terrorist.”
The Adonis pictured above was arrested for 1 gang and 5 felony weapon charges. Those charges and the danger he imminently could have caused went over everyone’s heads as they praised for him gorgeous blue eyes, high cheekbones and a chiseled face. The mug shot alone garnered over 45,000 Facebook likes!
Meeks was one of four men taken into custody during “Operation Ceasefire,” a mission to minimize an increase in shootings and robberies in the Weston Ranch area of Stockton. The arresting officer called him “one of the most violent criminals in the Stockton area” and social media didn’t e.n.o, neither did they care .
The women (and some men) threw their virtual panties at the striking faced criminal while the guys threw jabs. Social media hasn’t been this funny in weeks!
Lucky for feminine admirers, the man pictured above is his brother. However, don’t get too excited. He’s said to be married with a son. The woman in the picture below is rumored to be his wife.
As if this story couldn’t get anymore peculiar, here enters Jeremy’s mom. She believes her son is not a criminal and was wrongfully profiled. She’s started a GoFundMe account to raise $25,000 towards his case. There she wrote:
“My son was taken into custody on his way to work. He is a working man with a son. He is being stereotyped due to old tatoos. He has a job and … He was on his way to work. With no gang affiliations as per two of the charges. He has old tattoos..which causes him to be sterotyped. He’s my son and he is so sweet. Please help him to get a fair trial or else he’ll be railroaded.
Only $488.00 raised thus far but the account has been shared 2.8k times and counting. Meanwhile, we have starving children across the world and GoFundMe accounts to raise money for cancer treatment that can’t even get “A” like. Yet, a cute face garners enough attention to make it on the bigwig news station? I’m sleep though and it ain’t even my business.
