Harold Brantley, defensive lineman for Missouri, was seriously injured in a car accident this past Sunday according to reports after his car hit a guardrail and overturned. The car accident took place south of Columbia, Missouri.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Brantley was traveling on the left side of the road, and after over correcting his car slid off the right side of the highway which caused his car to strike a guardrail and flipped.
In the car with Brantley Missouri women’s basketball player Madeleine Stock but sustained minor injuries and was released from the hospital.
Brantley played in 14 Missouri games last season in which he started in 10 of them. He finished last season with 54 tackles and five sacks and is reportedly expected to be an early-round selection in next year’s draft.
