Haute couture is expensive fashion designed in ar form, made for the runway only or the red carpet. Throughout the years, with fashion emerging haute couture has went from the runway to the sidewalk. And, we’re here for it! But, the most important thing about haute couture and street style is how inspiring it is. So, is haute couture made for street style? Well yes! Yes it is.

My favorite haute couture items this season are Skirts! Skirts in haute couture are perfect for bold and with dimension. Give me a tulle or thigh high split skirt with a blouse and signature jacket; I can tell you a lifetime of stories.

Second, extra is needed, from sequins, faux fur and asymmetrical tops. There’s something about your style not being understood that speaks couture, add your personal street style to each item and you are a fashion guru.

Lastly, color and patterns are hand and hand. It’s not haute couture of you don’t take risk, and by risk we mean mix and match. Mix and match color or “color blocking” is currently a top trend in this years fashion. For haute couture soft mutual and seasonal colors are the go-to for street style.
