My favorite haute couture items this season are Skirts! Skirts in haute couture are perfect for bold and with dimension. Give me a tulle or thigh high split skirt with a blouse and signature jacket; I can tell you a lifetime of stories.

Second, extra is needed, from sequins, faux fur and asymmetrical tops. There’s something about your style not being understood that speaks couture, add your personal street style to each item and you are a fashion guru.

Lastly, color and patterns are hand and hand. It’s not haute couture of you don’t take risk, and by risk we mean mix and match. Mix and match color or “color blocking” is currently a top trend in this years fashion. For haute couture soft mutual and seasonal colors are the go-to for street style. It speaks, look at me without saying it a thing.

Each year we’re blessed with seasonal collections during fashion weeks in Paris, Milan and New York. But, street style and haute couture inspiration is all year long. So are you ready to take risk and give street haute couture style for fashion month?
