Bow & Drape started as a small kickstart when founder Aubrie Pagano couldn’t find the right dress to wear to a wedding. Pagano wanted something custom made and high-end , but couldn’t afford the high-end price. Harvard graduate easily beat her target of $30,000, she realized there was a market for chic, affordable, personalized clothing.
Aubrie created a “design studio” through Bow & Drape where women can create realistic visuals of their own designs. Bow & Drape is one of six fashion tech investments founder of Zappos, Tony Hsiehs invested in for $1.2 million.
