Rapper Ice T’s grandson Elyjah Marrow was arrested after accidentally shooting and killing his roommate reports are saying.

Police say 19-year-old Marrow was playing with a handgun in his Georgia apartment Tuesday when it accidentally went off, wounding his roommate Daryus Johnson, who was also 19, which resulted in his death.

Marrow was charged with involuntary manslaughter, possession of firearm in the commission of a felony, and reckless conduct. Also he was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a stolen firearm.

He is currently in custody.

Ice T has no released a statement regarding Marrow’s arrest.
