April 29 marked the 26th anniversary of the 1992 Los Angeles Riots.
Oscar winner Halle Berry is back in a new drama along with Daniel Craig in the movie KINGS. South Central Los Angeles neighborhood set against a backdrop of rising racial tensions during the verdict of the Rodney King trial in 1992.
Halle plays a woman who is secretly in love with Daniel‘s character Ollie, one of the only white residents in South Central Los Angeles in the early 1990s. Ollie befriends Halle‘s character, who is a foster mother, and they work together to track down the kids during the violence of the L.A. riots.
